Tthere are few signs in the Zodiac that I like more than others. Sagittarius makes it to the list of Zodiac signs that I love! They are extremely energetic and so much fun to be around. There is always something new that’s happening with the Sagittarius natives. However, they aren’t without faults of their own or weaknesses. And as much as I hate to acknowledge it, Sagittarius men and women have a dark side too. People who are close to a Sagittarian in their life know what I am talking about.

1. Awkward and vexatious behavior

What is the attitude of a Sagittarius, whether male or female? Friendly. Fun. Cheerful. Energetic, and other similar words come to mind. Right? But every once a while you will come across a clumsy Sagittarius. A Sagittarius who doesn’t pay any attention to what they are saying, what they are wearing, or who they are talking to. It is extremely rare for a Sagittarius to act this way. But when the Sagittarius is in a bad mood or an uncomfortable situation, they can make everyone around them feel the same way. You do not want to be around them when they are acting this way. It might seem extremely uncharacteristic of the Sagittarius. But well, that's who they are (or can be)!

2. Sagittarius have a narcissistic tendency

You may find this hard to believe. But if I were to answer the question “what are the weaknesses of a Sagittarius?”, this would be on top of the list. This is a problem with all fire signs in astrology. They rarely are grounded in reality or too humble to downplay their strengths. Much like all the other fire signs (Aries and Leo), Sagittarius has a strong intellectual ability. They think too much and will have the deepest insights on almost everything. This ability makes them see themselves as better than others. When this tendency becomes too visible is when they start to lose on friends and become intolerable for people around them.

3. Intellect makes way for absent-mindedness

Sagittarius spend too much time thinking about the world, that they completely neglect it. You will never find a Sagittarian whose mind isn’t always engaged in something. Most of the time their thoughts are not related to the situation they find themselves in presently. But what’s the problem with that? The problem is that they are never paying any attention to what’s around them. Their rooms and office desks are usually messy. You might be talking to them and they would pay no attention to it. They miss out on deadlines and usually are clueless about deliverables. And how do they deal with all of this? They make a hue and cry at the last moment. Further disrupting everything.

4. They can come across as rude

I often come across questions like “why Sagittarius are the worst?" on the internet. You already know that I am partial in favor of the Sagittarius Zodiac sign. So, I don't think they are the worst. However, I will admit that they can be too direct for their good. Sagittarius natives don't realize that people don't always want to listen to blunt criticism. Things need to be sugar-coated or at least told politely. It's not that the Sagittarius tries to hurt the other person. They just don't know how to make their thoughts more acceptable.

5. Despite their faults, they can be judgemental of others

The men and women born under the Sagittarius Zodiac sign are hardcore believers in first impressions. They rarely give the people they meet for the first time, a chance. They will immediately start judging the person. If they don’t like this new person, they will never try to re-establish contact. If you expect a second chance with the Sagittarius afterwards, you will need to be in a situation where they can't avoid you. When I was a student, my room mate was a Sagittarius. We were the best of mates and after our first-year ended she told me she hated me when we first met. I guess being forced to share the same room changed her opinion about me.

6. They don’t care about social niceties

If there's one thing about Sagittarius men and women that I dislike, it's their disregard for the things they aren't interested in. They will never put on a smile and pretend to laugh just to please the people. if you force them to attend a gathering they don't want to go to, they will frown upon everyone. First of all, they will never do something that they aren't interested in doing. If you do manage to force them into doing it, rest assured that they will make you regret it. it is this nature of theirs which makes them appear rude and arrogant too. And there is no explanation of this behavior which makes it more tolerable.

7. They take risk-taking a little too far

This is a good thing and a bad one. Sagittarius natives are known to be risk-takers. This is what makes them so adventurous and brings great success in their lives too. But even the most adventurous risk-takers know that they need to assess the situation first. Taking a risk where loss or failure is guaranteed, is stupidity. Sadly, Sagittarius women and men lack the skill of assessing risk. They only need to find an idea attractive enough to plunge right into it. this leads to a lot of problems in their lives.

8. They can be unreliable

It is a well-known fact that Sagittarius are among the disloyal Zodiac signs and the most likely to cheat. They have been known to be unfaithful to their partners. And this personality trait or characteristic finds its way in everything else too. After all, how can you expect an absent-minded, carefree individual to be reliable? Sagittarius men and women are cool to be around. However, they might not always be the people you can rely on. They won't be the first people you would want to call when you are in need. It's not just for the people around them though. They can't even be responsible for themselves.

9. They can hold a grudge for a long time

Sagittarians usually aren't people who make an issue out of trivial things. But if you have fought with them, they will not forget it any time soon. It doesn't even have to be a fight. If you have hurt them in any way, they will remember it. The worst part is that they also believe in revenge. So, if you ever crossed the path of a Sagittarius, you better watch you back. Centaurs were known to be excellent archers.

10. They have no regard for personal space

Maybe it's their carefree nature. Or maybe when they feel comfortable around someone they stop caring about things like personal space. But a Sagittarius, whether male or female, will indeed invade your personal space. Don't for a second think that they will let you inside their space. NEVER! Yet, they won't extend the same courtesy to you. The good news, however, is that you can let them know when they are doing it. Maybe try to set some ground rules?
